Part 2 U.S. soldiers watch motion pictures made by the industry and rushed by plane for their entertainment. Gen. Osborn speaks. Part 3 infants race in Palisades Park, N.J. Part 4 shows the allied attacks on Catania, Sicily. Gen. Montgomery poses. Shows Scotch highlanders advancing, people of Francofonte cheering allied troops, British soldiers drinking wine, and German and Italian POW's marching. U.S. and British paratroopers meet.

Oveta Culp Hobby (January 19, 1905 – August 16, 1995) was the first secretary of the U.S. Department of Health, Education and Welfare, first director of the Women's Army Corps, and a chairperson of the board of the Houston Post. Miles was born in Westminster, Massachusetts, on his family's farm. He worked in Boston, read military history, and mastered military principles and techniques, including battle drills.
